work from home, or if the mother is in a better paying job with better
benefits, then it makes sense for the mother to not sacrifice her

initially. Here are some tips and tricks to manage your kids and your
home.

Set a routine:
Develop a routine, be getting your child or children to eat, play and sleep at set times. This will be quite beneficial to them later and also avoid tantrums because they know they have to sleep at a given hour. Tantrums are thrown only when they think there is a chance of them getting their own way by acting up.

Enjoy the outdoors:
Summer or winter, rain or shine, make sure that you step out of the house at least once a day. This will help both you and your child as fresh air and sunlight are very important. If possible go to the park and hang out with other children and their Moms and Dads. Socializing is very important and you can never start too early.

Cleaning and Cooking:
Within a few days, you should be able to develop a routine and stick to it. Every new mother does it, so it isn't rocket science. You just need to have the patience of a saint and the tenacity of a bull dog. You have to tackle the chores like cleaning, cooking and laundry while the child is sleeping. You can put your feet up once the chores are done. If you don't have the baby food or milk or dinner ready when the child wakes up, you run the risk of tantrums and cranky behavior.
